Music Ministry
Trinity Bible Church's music ministry is dedicated to honoring and worshiping the Lord through the medium of music, both in word and in melody:
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:16-17
TBC applies a balanced approach to our worship music by including both the great hymns of the faith as well as appropriate contemporary songs and hymns in both the morning and evening Sunday services.
Orchestra - Instrumental praise is a very important part of the worship life at Trinity Bible Church, adding vibrancy to the Sunday services, and providing special music throughout the year. The orchestra is open to anyone of high school age or above with an intermediate level of proficiency on their instrument. We would love to have more instruments from any of the brass, woodwind, and string families. For more information about the orchestra, contact Dan Ellsworth or Jim Fennell.
Contemporary Group - The contemporary group leads the congregation in musical offerings of praise and worship to the Lord through more contemporary music styles and instruments. For more information about the contemporary group, or if you'd like to give some productive input as to how the group is developing, please contact Paul Ellsworth.
Special Music - A variety of vocal and instrumental music is utilized as special music during the morning and evening offertories. For more information or to volunteer for special music, contact the music leadership.
Technical Ministries - Utilizing audio, recording, and lighting equipment, the Technical Ministries team provides the vital "behind-the-scenes" support for regular worship services. From live operation of equipment to audio taping of services for the website, this team has a critical role in making sure that the good news of Jesus Christ is always clearly heard. For more information on Technical Ministries, please contact Dan Ellsworth.
