This document is written to offer a meaningful explanation of the principles that govern the ministries of Trinity Bible Church. It defines who we are, why we exist, and what our purpose is as a local church.
In addition to the Trinity Bible Church Affirmation of Faith Statement (doctrinal statement), which attempts to concisely systematize the core tenets of our faith, we also maintain a set of bylaws, otherwise referred to as 'rules of order' or a 'church constitution'.
The Bylaws of Trinity Bible Church are intended to promote efficiency in the identification and communication of Trinity Bible Church as an organization. They specify our church's governing structure, defining organizational offices, roles, and procedural protocol. They also identify stipulations for membership. The bylaws also help to legally protect the church as an organization. In other words, the Bylaws of Trinity Bible Church help “all things [to] be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14:40).
It brings great joy to Trinity Bible Church when our body of believers are in regular fellowship with one another. To help facilitate this fellowship, communication and mutual service, we provide a directory listing those who regularly attend Trinity Bible Church. Out of care and protection of individuals and respect for the privacy of their information, this document serves as our official directory use policy. We ask for your consideration and respect of others by complying with this policy.
At Trinity Bible Church, we value the contributions of the men and women who serve as Ushers and Greeters. This handbook has been created to provide guidance for those serving in this capacity, in what we call our welcoming ministry.
