Dan and Debbie have 50 years of ministry experience, with the past 30 years having by spent in cross-cultural service in Mexico and in the United States. They currently serve in outreach to Muslims who have entered the San Diego area as refugees or asylum-seekers. After years of working with Iraqis, Syrians, and Kurds, they are now engaging recent arrival from Afghanistan. The Benders have been called to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to the largest of the unreached people groups – the followers of Islam. It is painfully slow yet richly rewarded work, and they need your prayers (Rev. 5:9, 10).
