Deuteronomy

Light for Life: Exploring God-breathed Glory

Deuteronomy is the crown of the Torah. Theologically rich and overtly practical, it furnishes a wellspring of divine revelation. It is preeminently a book of remembrance for the sake of devotion. At the end of the forty-year period in the wilderness when the second generation of Israel was on the verge of entering the promised land, Moses gave a series of farewell discourses just before his death. The whole of the book predominantly urges the remembrance of God’s love and faithfulness to induce the love and faithfulness of His people.
