Saved to be Holy
Peter’s beautiful message of grace and peace, of the believer being born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, of an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven, and of the joy of our salvation in spite of grievous trials that test the genuineness of our faith, is now followed by a call to action on our part. We are to live in hope, in holiness, and in reverent fear of God.
