Worshiping God Through Missions

Just before Jesus is lifted into heaven, He leaves His apostles with a bold and final instruction: “that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem” (Luke 24:47). The gospel has been preached for nearly 2000 years and nations upon nations have been given the sweet hope of redemption through Jesus Christ. God’s plan of redemption flows from His Church as some are called to labor for the gospel to every tribe and tongue. Each day worshipers are added to His Church through missionaries proclaiming salvation through the name of Jesus Christ. Let us rejoice and worship the Lord of the harvest for His plan of redemption leading to the fulfillment of His Word for His Glory and our joy.
