This Sunday we begin our new study through the book of Romans, beginning with the series, “For the Gospel of God.”

The apostle Paul begins his most acclaimed letter with a succinct statement and summary of his purpose. He writes for the gospel of God. The advancement of the gospel of God is the very same purpose for which he lives. It will also be both the cause and comfort of his death. He himself has been set apart for this very thing. This series seeks to capture the opening of Paul’s letter to the Romans with an eye toward its central purpose.
