The gospel results in peace. Peace between a holy God and His sinful people. It also results in peace between sinners who are redeemed by the blood of the Peacemaker. If the greater, then certainly the lesser. The church is called to make much of Christ and one of the distinctively gospel-oriented means to this end is realized when the local pursues peace with one another.
