Directing the Dark for Light
In striking contrast to something beautiful we see betrayal. Immediately following a showcase of devotion we are met with deception. Here, the worth of Jesus is set in sharp contrast to the wickedness of Judas. Never has betrayal been so dark or cut so deep. Never has the character and contrast of God and man shown more brilliantly than in the darkness of these unfolding events. But even here, the sovereign Christ is directing the dark for light.
