Worship Services

Sundays at 10:30 AM
Our worship service includes both contemporary and traditional elements. A typical service includes announcements, congregational singing, the public reading of Scripture, corporate prayer, and expository preaching (50-60 minutes). The entire service is usually about 1 1/2 hours. Typically, the first Sunday of each month we celebrate the Lord’s Supper (Communion) together.

Wednesdays at 7:00 PM
The Wednesday service is a mid-week gathering for the church to enjoy God-centered fellowship. It affords a time of spiritual refreshment and devotion to God through the teaching of the Word of God. It is also a time of personal and casual fellowship; sharing and enjoying one another’s encouragement, prayers, and companionship. It is a blessed opportunity for uplifting renewal in the midst of our busy weekday lives. All ages—families, young people, singles—are welcome and invited!

What kind of music do you play?

We sing theologically sound and worthwhile songs – whether new or old – in both contemporary and traditional music styles. Song selection is primarily based on the textual content, with attention paid to doctrinal aspects, clarity, and appropriateness for a corporate worship service. We also enjoy a variety of instrumental accompaniment. Please see our Music page for more information.

What do people wear?

Most people dress in attire equivalent to business causal, while some dress more formal and still others simply dress casual. The pastor and most leaders typically dress more formal.

What age groups attend?

We have a healthy diversity of members ranging in age from young singles to elderly widows. There are a number of young families with young children as well as married couples without children in the home.

What about childcare?

We offer childcare during the worship service. Childcare is provided for infants to 36 months and children’s church provided for age 3 to 4 yrs.

Experience

We are currently a relatively mid-size congregation, gathering in a sanctuary that seats ~570.
