Christ Alone

Solus Christus is a Latin phrase that means Christ alone. It was used by the Reformers of the sixteenth century to contend that sacred Scripture reveals that salvation is found in and through Christ and Christ alone. No cooperation. No contribution. No competition. There is no other way to be redeemed except through the one and only Christ and Him crucified. This is the most offensive of all the solas. The exclusivity of Christ has always been an affront to our pluralistic world, but never quite as it is in our day. This message considers Christ’s own claim and unfolds its ground and glory. Timeless and practically relevant, for God’s glory and man’s joy.
