Addressing Lust - Part 1
In this passage, Christ addresses the monstrous seriousness of a commonplace sin. In so doing, our Lord accentuates the utter sinfulness of sin, enlarging our perspective and calling our hearts to reevaluate our sensitivities. His illustration is one of the most shocking challenges to complacency and a low view of sin, demanding serious personal sacrifice for the sake of Christ and our joy.
