Leviticus
Leviticus is esteemed by Jewish custom as the most important book of the Torah. Without it the rituals and sacrificial offerings encountered throughout the Old Testament would scarcely make sense. More importantly, in it we learn something of the character of God and the significance of how His redeemed should approach and abide with Him. Leviticus serves to present, portray, and prescribe the holiness of God to God’s people that they might draw near to Him for goodness and gladness.
