Message: “Legacy of Light” from Manny Pereira

We stand in a legacy. One that demands the stewardship of those awakened by its light. Life without light is unthinkable. So is spiritual life without sacred Scripture. Life thrives in light, not darkness. So God’s people thrive in Scripture. Throughout history much darkness has enveloped the world, threatening to extinguish even the life of the people of God. Yet God in His gracious providence, at various times and in various places, has brought about a revival of life through the shining light of divine revelation. Wherever there is a return to the sacred Scriptures, an awakening of revival and reformation result. Its effects are both inward and outward, penetrating the heart, reforming the church, and influencing society. We stand not in a legacy of men, but a legacy of light—the living light of the written Word.
