Message: “More Than Words” from Manny Pereira

The central thrust of the passage has been stated: “we rejoice in hope of the glory of God” (5:2). Now, Paul takes us deeper into the heart of hope—into the very heart of God. Here the Guarantor of glory demonstrates the greatest ground of hope. What was presented in terms known only to justice is now presented in the language of love. Hope is secure supremely because it rests on God’s love, and God’s love is given in more than words.
