The Storm that Reveals Jesus
Many have marveled at Him, but none so great as those closest to Him. His teaching is astonishing. His miracles are breathtaking. His calling on disciples is unprecedentedly costly. If all of this adds up to teach us to respond wholeheartedly to Jesus no matter the cost, then what immediately follows shines a spectacular light on the grand importance of knowing Him. It is not enough to marvel at His words and works, knowing His person is the key that unlocks everything else. This stunning encounter draws the reader nearer to the glory of the person of Jesus from Nazareth. Those nearest Him marvel with such words as, “What sort of man is this?”
