Undefeatable Gospel
A hymn of triumph erupts as Paul contemplates the infatigable certainty of redemption in Christ. The golden chain of salvation commands celebration. The first of several exultant notes are here sounded as questions of invincible purpose. The case has been made. Now the gospel’s gauntlet is thrown down. The Father steps forward and shines a more focused and brilliant spotlight on the Son. In this light, the full force of the gospel’s logic exultantly answers a series of progressive questions. The trusting heart is reduced to nothing but praise, thanksgiving, and secure joy. It is a meditation in the undefeatable gospel.
